The scope of this bachelor work is to give the basic information and explain the functionality of particular harvester thresher mechanism and confront their synthesis and product mix from different producers. The agricultural engineering sale is large and that is why the first step of the usage will be the company literature and then professional magazines will be given. This work is mainly made through the use of visual documentation, which afford explanation of existing mechanics principle, their particular structural design and summary of producers. Then there will be mentioned their percent sales representation and the confrontation according to the efficiency classes. The attention will be first of all paid to the best in this field, for example to the companies, which are engaged in picking engineering production for cereals, as are for example companies Claas, Fendt. Case IH or New Holland.

This thesis deals with the influence of combine harvester setting on harvest losses and it aims on individual components of combine harvesters. The principles of tangential and axial threshing mechanisms are described. Separator rotors and straw walker principles are analysed in the part of remaining grain separation. Also the cleaning mechanisms are mentioned and clarified. Theoretical part finishes by the description of combine harvester settings impact on harvest losses. The influence of combine harvester settings on harvest losses were verified by experimental measurement. The change of threshing mechanism and ground speed were realized with subsequent monitoring of cleaning and grain separation losses. Finally the calibration of controlled engine choking was investigated for the material flow monitoring.

This bachelor's thesis deals with combine threshing system. The essence of combine harvesters and their importance are discussed in introduction. History of the first combine harvester in the Czech agriculture is described further. Next chapter is devoted to basic description and division of threshing systems by type. Threshing system of Czech market biggest harvesters is mentioned in conclusion. Also threshing system of international harvesters is highlighted.
